Your Own Business
Need
The SunBlox Solar Screen business in effect reduces your customer’s power bills by blocking the sun’s rays before they hit your windows, causing their air conditioning system to work much less. The conservative studies and research suggest that these tinted window screens can save 25% - 30% on your customers' cooling bills. The more liberal studies suggest as high as 50% savings on air conditioning bills when tinted window screens are in place. Our customer feedback over the course of four years repeatedly tells us that they are saving 25% - 30% on cooling bills. The effects of tinted window sun screens in turn reduce power consumption on the U.S. power grid thus creating a healthier planet and environment.
Solution
SunBlox offers tinted solar window screens as a way to block the sun before it hits the glass. Deflecting the sun’s rays before they hit the glass is imperative to true sun control and elimination of solar heat-gain, fading, and glare in the customer’s home or office. Our screens are fabricated with the best material in our industry, bar none. We can replicate arched windows with arched solar window screens, and we can match all colonial grid-work in our sunscreens that the window may have. We are fully equipped to install solar screens on sliding glass doors and french doors as well. Another line we started in recent years is skylight solar screens; domed or flat skylights are easily covered with solar screen material to eliminate heat-gain and glare. A side-bar benefit of skylight sunscreens is the reduced noise levels during heavy rain downpours. SunBlox offers manual and motorized roll-down shades in varying degrees of sun blockage. Roll-downs are great for the customer’s lanai, patio, or sunroom. Another service we offer is the re-screening of lanai, pool enclosure, or porch areas with heat reducing solar screen material.
SunBlox exterior sun control screens install like an insect screen to help cool your home by deflecting, absorbing, and dispersing solar-heat, UV rays, and glare before it penetrates the glass in your windows and doors.
